Royalty collection and copyright protection for your music

Every stream generates royalties, but only if someone collects them. Digitalent Music has partnerships with major collection societies and platforms worldwide, so your royalties are collected faster and no territory is left unclaimed, while you keep 100% of your copyrights.

Two kinds of rights, two kinds of income

A recorded song carries two separate rights: the master (the sound recording) and the composition (the melody and lyrics). Streaming platforms pay for both. Master royalties reach you through your distributor; composition royalties, mechanical and performance, flow through publishers and collection societies.

Many independent artists only ever see the first stream of income. Our partnerships with collection societies are there to capture the second one as well.

  • 04

    Content ID and rights monitoring

Your recordings are registered with YouTube Content ID, SoundCloud Content ID, Audible Magic and Pex, which identify your music when it is used by others.

Support from people who know the system

Royalty rules differ by country and by platform. Our team guides you through registrations, splits and credits so that your data matches everywhere it is used. Clean data is what turns plays into payments.
